This conference was already boycotted by the U.S.A., Australia, the Netherlands, Israel, Italy and Canada.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran triggered a walkout by the U.K. and other EU States when he questioned the reality of the Holocaust, accused Israel of genocide and spoke of a wide-ranging Zionist conspiracy. He called Israelis “those racist perpetrators of genocide”.

Gaza – The Real Story, Really

On Sunday 11th January, Yael Rubinstein the Israeli Ambassador to Thailand wrote an article for Sunday Forum (Bangkok Post) entitled Gaza – The Real Story. It was an emotive piece with the clear objective of justifying Israel’s current actions, and garnering support. It was also a little one-sided.

Today is Day 18 of the Gaza conflict, or carnage, as it is a little too one-sided to qualify as a conflict.
F16 fighter jets, tanks, heavy artillery, naval bombardments, missiles, all arrayed against small arms and Hamas rockets that are about as lethal as the rockets at the Bun Bang Fai festival in Thailand.
